How many bundles should you get with a Lace Closure?
If you are going for a short hairstyle like bob, you typically only need about two bundles of hair.
This is suggestion is mainly for when you install your weave with a closure.
The general rule is that if you have bundles anywhere from 8 inches to about 14 inches, you could ideally use two bundles. If you are going to get bundles longer than 14 inches, like 16” to 20”, you might need three bundles.
With anything beyond that length, you might end up needing about four or more bundles with your lace closure.
Rule of thumb: You need to be careful when you are getting lengths above 22” because sometimes, three bundles of 22” could be fine. But the thing to remember is that your hair is going to be thin because three bundles of 22 inches is not going to be the same as three bundles of shorter lengths.
Recommendation: The longer your hair is, the thinner it will be, so we’d recommend doubling up on the longest length for extra fullness.
For example, with a 20”,22”,24” and 26” we would recommend you getting 22”, 24”, 26” and 26” instead.
When you double up on the longest length, your style will definitely look thicker. Lastly, if you want a full look with bundles 30” up to 40”, we recommend five to six bundles with a lace closure.
We hope this information will help you to make a good decision when getting your Brooklyn Hair bundles next time.
